Hey, girl! I am a blessed mother of two precious littles: Aurora Zen (2yo) and Dante Alexander (5mo).
I live in the Wild and Wonderful state of West Virginia with my husband, Dirk, and my children.
I am a second-generation homeschooler and the 4th out of 9 kids! I have been around children my whole life and have personally seen what a beautiful calling motherhood is in my own mother…who I think is the closest thing there is to a saint. 😉 Both my husband and I are christians and involved in a wonderful local church. I worked as a neuro-trauma ICU nurse before coming home to be a SAHM (stay at home mom) full-time.
The heartbeat behind this blog is to normalize the sharing of the many challenges that a mother faces, to be authentic and raw with eachother, and to provide encouragement along the way. I hope that I can create a safe place for questions and that this is something that could bless you in your journey as a mother. Would love to hear from you!
